Take a Peek at my Blue Seal Chick Days Tour!

Whew! I'm finally home (for awhile at least!) after finishing the last leg of my nearly six-week tour of New England with Blue Seal Feed. I had such a great time.

I want to personally thank everyone who came to one of my almost two dozen events. It was so nice to be able to say hello and put a face to the names I see on social media. I also want to thank everyone at Blue Seal who worked so hard to ensure the tour went as smoothly as it did.

I ate some amazing local food and enjoyed seeing the sights as I flew or drove from feed store to feed store. We visited cow farms, goat farms and even found a figgery while driving through central New York. We even presented a copy of Let's Hatch Chicks! to the children at a school in New Hampshire.

But I have to say that the highlight of the entire tour was our visit to the famed Arethusa Farm in Litchfield County Connecticut and then lunch at their farm to table restaurant Al Tavolo. Having just met the chickens, of course I had to order the Eggs Benedict and I boy do they know how to poach an egg there!

So again, a sincere thank you to everyone who went out of their way or changed their schedule to attend one of the events. I really do appreciate it and had such fun at each stop!

But now it's time to spend some time at home planting and preparing the garden, adding to my flock (hopefully hatching some chicks or ducklings!) and just relaxing at home with my family.  Enjoy this peek at my week!
